Art

All art made by young people aged 13-19 with themes inclusive of sexual, gender, and/or sex minorities are eligible to enter.
The art will be judged by representatives from InsideOUT and prizes will be awarded to the top pieces. Winners will be announced here late 2016. The top pieces will be on display at our next art exhibition from January 30th-February 7th and will also be posted on the website.
Art can be interpreted as you like - we will accept any artwork you submit into this category, including but not limited to drawings, paintings, photography, comics and sculptures.
The judge’s decisions are final. The criteria they will use include:

InsideOUT recognises that students are already making art with queer themes that contain positive representations, challenging norms and confronting LGBTI+ issues. This competition is intended to bring more visibility to this work, reward the young people who are creating this content, and heighten the awareness of the organisation and the work that we do. For more information about InsideOUT, see our website.
