These comics were entered into Expression 2016 by Casper Gordon

“These are taken out of a comic called “As It Happens” I do three times weekly about whatever I’m thinking about and my daily life - being queer tends to come into that a lot. I only started it a couple months ago and I’m going to keep updating into the foreseeable future with very likely more lgbt+ themes.”

This art piece, “Cocoon,” was entered into Expression 2016 by Anahera Roestenburg.

“My piece is displaying how the rainbow community is breaking free of the cocoon of hate around them. The background features comments that diverse sexualities and gender identities may hear on a day to day basis. Although I regret being unable to include more flag representation outside of gay and trans, I have done my best to include other sexualities and identities in the background, such as lithrosexual and intersex. Lithrosexual, alongside many other sexualities is often forgotten about. “

“She represents being diverse, unique and beautiful in her own skin. Oil on Canvas.“
